Emily Kircher's stress relief became her passion as she's become a fabric artist.
Emily Kircher’s artistic journey began while the Carbondale, Ill.while she was enrolled in graduate school with hopes of becoming an environmental toxicologist. To manage the stress of long hours in the lab, Kircher began crocheting rugs and a new career was born. Today Kircher crafts beautiful bowls, baskets, and rugs from salvaged fabric and creates mosaic picture frames from recycled dishes.
