And the first song we were writing, he asked me who was my first love.
And I said my first-grade girl- my fifth-grade girlfriend Sara.
And Sara moved away when I was in the fifth grade, and I was devastated.
And I would sit in my room and cry, and my sisters would take turns coming in and giving me #*#*#*#* about it.

But we wrote this at the beginning, and it's the only song I've ever- I've ever written that, it was written on Zoom, and then the whole song was recorded on Zoom.
Nobody was ever in the studio together, 'cause we couldn't get together, and we wanted the song out.
And so my producer, Ross, just called guys and said, "Hey, could we get on the computer and cut this song?"
So we did it, I don't ever wanna do that again.
(audience laughs) But it sounded pretty good, and- and guess what?
It was a number one.
