Author Doris Kearns Goodwin is one of the nation's best-known scholars of the American Presidency, she has written extensively about LBJ, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the Fitzgeralds, and the Kennedys, and most recently about the relationship of Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and the press during the early 20th century.
