I'm your host, Olivia Manning, and welcome to today's episode of Scholastic IQ, the only show where knowledge rules.
Today we've got two incredible returning teams for our second quarterfinal.
We've got Belleville East with Jax and Sean, Ben and Arahman, and at the bottom we've got Bond County with Roger, Brock, Colson and Colin.
At this point, we should know the rules.
But just in case you don't, I have in my hand a series of toss up questions.
I'll ask these to the room.
Anyone that gets a toss up question right then moves on to a bonus round, which they can answer for 20 bonus points, or the other team can steal for ten bonus points.
There are also math questions, media questions, lightning rounds.
But we will get to all of that when we get to it.
The most important thing that you all need to remember is the interruption rule.
If at any point I'm speaking out the words of a question and you interrupt me to give an answer, if you are wrong, the other team gets five bonus points and the chance to answer that question.
So if you're gonna interrupt me, just make sure that you're right.
