She passed away a couple of years ago, and I inherited her jewelry.
My dad would have bought this for her, probably in the early '60s.
APPRAISER: It is a platinum ring, it is an eternity band.
As far as the dating goes, it is retro, and it's very stylistically retro, from the 1950s, 1960s.
And it's so on trend right now, the eternity band.
The diamonds are very clear, clean diamonds.
GUEST: Okay.
APPRAISER: They're VS quality, and you have about three carats of diamonds all the way around.
GUEST: Oh, wow.
APPRAISER: There is no marking on the inside...
GUEST: Okay.
APPRAISER: So it's very-- it's impossible to tell where it was made.
In today's market, if you had to have this made, you would pay about $8,000 to $10,000.
GUEST: Wowee.
APPRAISER: To have something like this made.
GUEST: Wow.
That's exciting.
APPRAISER: Yeah.
GUEST: That is very exciting.
