Richard Jurek has recently co-authored "Marketing the Moon: The Selling of the Apollo Lunar Program." It's a fascinating story of how public relations professionals helped grow public support for the space program during the turbulent decade of the 1960s. Jurek discusses the book and displays several items from his collection, including a moon-dust-smeared command module checklist from Apollo 17.
